Getting traffic to your site is the backbone of any successful internet business. You know for a fact that it’s possible, but if you’re new it can seem a daunting task.
Here’s the thing… it’s not as easy as the pros who want you to buy their expensive course tell you it will be. It takes time, effort and learning… or… lots of money to hire marketing gurus to do it for you.
But it’s easier than you may think!
Here’s what you can do to make it happen:
a. Write and publish informative and useful articles on topics in your niche. Articles are a very powerful means to generate traffic to your site. I would advise looking around the internet for some articles on how to write articles. I have written many which you’ll find out there if you Google my name.
What you do is to write 250 to 500 word articles and publish them on an article directory like Ezine Articles, Go Articles or Article Dashboard to name just a few. At the end of your article you can attach your resource box you can offer a link to something of value – usually free – on your site.
b. You can create a website with initially 20 to 40 pages, publish articles on your site, add fresh content regularly and wait for traffic to appear. If your keywords and content are attractive and you update frequently then Google will find you and index your site. Once that has happened traffic will slowly start to appear.
c. Create a blog with a domain name containing keywords that your research shows are ranked highly for search popularity. It’s easier to get a Blog name that has strong pulling power than it is to get a URL since all the great ones are already taken.
d. Place a Web form on every relevant page of everything so visitors can fill in the form, get your free offer and subscribe to your list
